The MS Australia - ACT/NSW/VIC has been active in the area of community sector partnerships in recent years in Melbourne, with the development of the Nerve Centre in Blackburn.
The Nerve Centre was created in 2001 the MS Society now works with 10 co-located organisations, and our partner organisations share a number of resources, including IT, building infrastructure and service models and programs. Many more organisations across the sector are involved with the MS Society and its partners through campaigns, joint service partnerships and sector networks.
Multiple Sclerosis Society of Victoria works with partner organisations on a number of service and administration projects and is in regular discussion with them about new opportunities. This includes joint funding application, shared information services, new service development and joint training.
