MS Australia - ACT/NSW/VIC is privileged to have the support of a tremendous volunteer team who work alongside staff, with clients, in the community and assisting with fundraising programs and events. Without the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers, we would be unable to provide the level of support we are able to people with MS, their families and carers.
The MS Society welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds and recognises the skills and abilities they bring with them. Volunteers are matched to a role that suits their skills, interests and abilities and receive training and ongoing support in their assigned roles.
By volunteering you can gain new skills, make new friends and have fun while enjoying the sense of reward that comes from really making a difference and assisting in reaching our mission - to minimise the impact of multiple sclerosis on individuals, their families and the community while working to improve treatments for the disease and accelerating research to ultimately develop a cure.
As an MS Volunteer you will be matched with a role that suits your skills, interests and abilities. Volunteers can become involved in a variety of activities at various levels of the organisation. The main objective of a successful volunteer placement is to achieve personal satisfaction while assisting the Society to support people with MS.
